Veronica Wood Blair

Veronica grew up on her grandparents’ farm in the lush countryside of El Salvador, where mango trees, volcano views, and street market adventures filled her childhood with wonder. Those early memories now inspire her children’s books, each one capturing the warmth, magic, and lessons of her rural beginnings.

Mango Market Adventure — Her First Book

 

Veronica’s debut picture book, Mango Market Adventure, takes young readers on a joyful journey through her childhood days—picking mangoes, helping Grandma sell fruit at the street market, and discovering the beauty of work and family bonding. It’s the first story in her series, Adventures from Growing Up on a Farm in El Salvador, which celebrates culture, family, and the magic of everyday life.

From Memoir to Children’s Books, Veronica is also writing her powerful and faith-filled memoir describing hardships, healing and her journey to America. It’s the story behind the stories — revealing how her childhood adventures became the inspiration for her cildren's books.
